Yellow 10

Stan, Sue Yin, Alexander, Eng Siong.

A few weeks ago, after grueling hours of OC camp and work, I was assigned to the group Yellow 10. Initially i wanted to be in Red Group, because when i was in Alpha i was in Green, then a year later i was a Green Mobile OC(G3), and the year after that i was a Green Mobile OC(G4) again.
During 2006 I was banned from being an OC because of organizing a prom which was not inline with STAD guidelines. 2007 I was a Yellow Mobile OC(Y7).
This year i wanted to stop OC for good, so i wanted Red. You know, just like the traffic lights, Green-Green-Green-Yellow-Red. So it's almost like symbolic.

Despite the sudden changes I enjoyed my time in Yellow and my group (Y10).
There I met:

Yellow 10 Members.

Wan Hwa, Ching Peng, Stan and Christina.

38 vs 59

38:Key Features & Benefits

  • Ideal for first-time contact lens wearers

  • High-performance, ultra-thin design

  • Time-tested, deposit-resistant material for excellent comfort

59:Key Features & Benefits

  • Time-tested, deposit resistant material for excellent comfort

  • Easy handling

Conclusion: I've tried both simultaneously on both eyes. In terms of performance and prolong usage, 59 fair better than 38. On the other hand, in terms of easier application 38 shows greater comparison to 59.

Contemplation

"Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiveness, selfishness and fears. You will find things are actually not as difficult as you think."

Sometimes we spend time in asking who is responsible or whom to blame, whether in a relationship,in a job or with the people we know. By this way we miss out some warmth in human relationship.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Let's start doing something about it today.

All Geared up!

Today went for a movie with Lex. When we reached the cinema entrance, we saw that there's not much movies to watch today. Initially we intended to watch Kungfu Panda. But that movie won't reach the silver screens until mid June. So we watched:

The Superhero Movie. A very hilarious movie.

The movie is mostly based on the parody of Spiderman. Go watch it!
Pro: Very funy and witty.
Con: Very short movie. Which is worth it cos i only paid Rm6 to watch the movie.

The day before i checked my wardrobe and decided that i have not enough formal shirts. Since some of the formal shirts are short-sleeved. And i don't want to wear short-sleeved formals for Orientation.
So i bought this:

RM54.50 An okay buy.

Bought it at Padini Concept Store in Dataran Pahlawan. Ironically I was just at the store 2 days ago, and i didn't thought of buying anything. So with that added to my collection, I'm ready for Orientation!

P/S: I still have to get my hair cut.

Menara Taming Sari

Last weekend, me and some friends stopped by the famed Taming Sari Tower(Menara Taming Sari). Well it's name is not so famous, cos most people refer it as "Nehh... that rotating tower near Dataran Pahlawan."

Taming Sari Tower.

It's called Taming Sari after the Keris wielded by Hang Tuah. Legend has it that Hang Tuah fought a warrior from Majapahit called Taming Sari. After winning the fight, the keris that Taming Sari possess is given to Hang Tuah; the keris has the same name as it's original owner.

Hmmm... It does look like a Keris.

The entrance fee is:
Adult: RM20
Children:RM10

When you get 10 students with student IDs, you have a special students' rate of RM10 per person.

In comparison,
Eye of Malaysia: RM15 (with fireworks display)
Eye of Melaka: RM5 (goes 3 rounds)

After considerations, we didn't went up the tower. So not worth it! Ironically, we saw many people queuing up for tickets.

Note: The ride lasts about 8mins.
