School Flower; School Grass

While a friend of mine join StarCeleb which is due to air starting September 2007 every Sunday 6.00pm on NTV 7.
I'm taking a part in a mini contest to win a mp4, a contest based on online voting themed:

Xiao Hua Xiao Zhao ( School Flower ; School Grass)

In the beginning, I didn't know I was in the line of joining this "pageant", but after some incomprehensible persuasion from a friend saying something like :" Join la join la, help me win PenSkin® , i agreed.

Soon after i knew i can win a mp4, so whack la. Little did i know it's a contest where you put up a picture of yourself and have people vote for you based on your physical appearance.
Something i never thought i would join in a lifetime. If it's a contest about general knowledge, can lah. But this, it's just so la-la.

Anyway, no point turning back now. I have to face 17 other candidates with honor!

So get yourselves registered and vote for me!

p/s: Graphic images ahead. The 18 candidates are just posers, in actual fact are not the sum up of MMU hottest guys.

The OC v3.0

Being an mobile OC for the 3rd time really means alot to me. It means a time a fulfillment, enjoyment and accomplishment. Good memories is just a part of the package.

I always tell my friends, : If you scream things like " Who's the Best?!" and cheering animalistic cheers and baking under the sun. Freshmen that just came to our University will give you their utter respect.

Simply because:

OC is so cool.
It's almost every freshie's dream to be an OC.

I like to take this opportunity to thank Yellow 7(Y7). Without them i wouldn't have the bestest time here in MMU. And without them i wouldn't have the best and most memorable group of freshies. I really wish you all the best in your future undertakings.

Cheers!

Home

This is the lyrics of the song that reflected all my emotions during my homecoming. Truthfully i felt numb when i got back. So numb that i can't really describe it. Being numb is not a bad thing in this case. Just a description of how i was feeling and it was best portraited by this song.

After doing all the mediocrities of settling down from a long journey, i switched on the box and tuned to MTV. After some music videos of some of my favourites which includes Linkinpark-What I've Done and Avril Lavigne- Girlfriend.

I saw a familiar face on a music video. I thought: " Hey isn't that the guy from American Idol which got kicked off early in the show." And i really supported him cause this guy really had talent and Simon Cowell being the bitch he is couldn't see it. So this guy named Chris Daughtry made it on his own without going through the chessy American Idol.

Daughtry album is also forging unprecedented sales and chart breakthroughs - affirming there is still gold to be mined, thank God, with a rugged voice and passionate songwriting instincts, he made it.

Home- Chris Daughtry

I'm staring out into the night,
Trying to hide the pain.
I'm going to the place where love
And feeling good don't ever cost a thing.
And the pain you feel's a different kind of pain.

Well I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old,
So I'm going home.
Well I'm going home.

The miles are getting longer, it seems,
The closer I get to you.
I've not always been the best man or friend for you.
But your love, it makes true.
And I don't know why.
You always seem to give me another try.

So I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old,
So I'm going home.
I'm going home.

Be careful what you wish for,
'Cause you just might get it all.
You just might get it all,
And then some you don't want.
Be careful what you wish for,
'Cause you just might get it all.
You just might get it all, yeah.

Oh, well I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old.
I said these places and these faces are getting old,
So I'm going home.
I'm going home.

Love Journey

I'm very proud of my bebe to produce a very excellent video clip of us.
I didn't expect it would be this good. Through skill and hours of effort put in the video, it turned out to have that special warmth in my heart. I'm so touched and impressed.

It highlights all of our memories for this past year. An amazing journey for us both to share and cherish!

Can't wait for our reunion, I'm missing you very much here. Muacks.
I love you baby!

Stanbucks

Next week is Week 13 and I’m having my Introduction to Cyberpreneurship business project.

Stanbucks operates on selling fresh delicacies that is aimed at providing customers with refreshing food and drinks suited with the Malaysian climate and weather. The business exclusively sells Cendol, ice blended drinks and chilled chopped fruits.

Stanbucks’s competitive edge is that the product such as the Cendol is an all-time favorite among MMU students and by locals. By this fact, it is unlike any products that have been sold regularly in MMU. The product also represents the Malacca heritage as the main delicacy that lures tourists to this food haven.

Stanbucks is operated by Me, Fun GuoLin, Munib Alharbi, Hiew Chun Fatt, Loh Jian Rong, Mohamed Hafiz Osman, Abdirahman Abshir Einab, Mohamed Ismail Ali, Aaron Chai Kao Khy, and Ivan Tan Woen Sheng most of which are also taking EHM 3066 this trimester.

Stanbucks will expand by adding different kinds of variety into their range of products. The company believes in setting the benchmark in business, and aims to instill a culture of branded food delicacies and refreshments.

Come and support us!

Nuffnang.com.my

After browsing through Kennysia.com, he wrote about a topic that took my interest and shot it to Mars.
Introducing Asia's first blog advertising community!

How it caught me in awe:

1. It's a community and a network. Just as word explains itself, the power of a network is awesome
2. From the creators of lengmou.blogspot.com. Enough said.
3. The Ads look cool. Got omph and coolness factor. I like. :)

Things that struck me like when Nuffnang uses terms like "Pay it Forward". Paying it Forward a refers to repaying the good deeds one has received by doing good things for other unrelated people. I first came across the term when a movie named Pay it Forward was aired.

I guess a world would be a better place if everyone just pay it forward. The grass would be greener , the sky bluer. Ok crap. But the moral sentiment in the idea of paying it forward really makes a difference. Okay, i just realised i obsessively used the word Paying it Forward that i made a word counter for it.

"Pay it Forward" WORD COUNTER: 6

4. You should sign up if you think your blog is worth it.
5. Stan said so.

So Cheers!

To the moon and back

On a early Tuesday morning, i set off on my journey back home after sweet moments of farewell with my ever so tender and lovable bebe.
I'm going to miss her so much! She's really wonderful. ^^
---
The flight back, was kinda unique. Had a superb view of the clouds from the plane above. The clouds were bathe in rays of golden sunlight. Floating by like an enormous glorious kingdom in the sky.
I know you guys would say like, urgh that's normal. Well of my flights around the world, that was one captivating sight. It had a lot of feeling to it, maybe because i had quite a lot on my mind then.
---
Going back was really a brow raiser. I didn't expect a lot of things.
---

Highlights back home was probably:
Moments spent with mom, sis and bro.
Moments spent talking with Tony, almost like the time we used to chat non stop through the night while we were at top floor of Alpha Condo overseeing the whole KL city skyline.

---
Lastly, I'm back with loads of energy and enthusiasm.
Cheers!
P/S: The new google thingie is cool.

My old dance career

While chatting with my sweetheart, i changed my display picture to my old dance group photo.
Those were the days where all talents combined, from all backgrounds: National Gymnastics, National Cheerleaders(Male), Dance Coach, Chreographers, and just people that had the jive to dance.

This video was one of the collection of dances we had. Just to show how good(or bad) we were. In this dance "Moto", i was not featured of course.

Enjoy!

Inspire the Next

Today i contacted my long lost junior, Hamdan
It must be since orientation week of 2005.
After weeks in MMU he left for UiTM.
---
During the years in UiTM,

He was very involved in organising events in his university and the events he organised was highly acclaimed. It was down to earth and in-line with the working environment and industry.

He said
"
quick_shaq: u were a good role model for me when i 1st step in higher ed u know... "

I guess we share similarities in event organising and leadership.
And I'm glad that he inspires others and push for genuine change within others rather than seeking approval and self gratification or finding acknowledgement.
For the world to be better place, we must always extend our hands and inspire others' and you'll never know. The best of things might happen. You might change someone's life, you might be opened up to new opportunity and greater heights.

Let's continue to inspire people and make that event management company ya! ^^

Evolution

"I'm willing to do today what others won't so that I can live tomorrow like others can't."

Let's look at the word "Evolution", in short it's E.V.O.

Everything in life is fair and comes with a choice.
We choose how we want to live by, be it our principles in life and the boundaries of it.
It is who we choose to be, and our mindset controls that.
In life, if you can't then you must, and that is how simple break thoughs can be achieved.

E.V.O. can be intepreted in two ways:
1. Employer. Victor. Option
2. Employee. Victim. Option

Life is an option, you choose.

How to make love

Caught your attention by the title le.

Achieve what you want

I believe that a student in university have time for 3 major things:
i)Education
ii)Leisure
iii)Misc

As mention in i), i strongly believe that as a student our priority is to study and concentrate on our education. This should be our main priority.
Often at times, students use their time more on to leisure such as play games, socialise and etc.

Above all that we still have an ounce of time, which is our misc time. What exactly you use that on? Be it Club work, outings, events/activities, hang out, drink tea as i've mentioned above.
But mine is business, with all the time in the world, why don't we be more entreprising?
Fork out that time to do something for our future.

I like to point out that everthing we do, we have a goal or a dream. Never forget that my goal of doing business is for my loved ones such as my family and my girlfriend. Let them be your driving force to what you want to achieve. Love them and support them.
Apart from inspiring people to achieve what they really want in life, in this business i also want to paved my way to a platfom to realise bigger potential.

Over the years, i've been telling people to change,by changing their attitude. I do this because i want to help my friends. Most of my friends, just like myself came from an rough background.
I've discover something more important than an attitude change which is perception change.
I'll blog about that some other time, or you can talk to me about it.

Along the way you'll meet great people that inspire you, let us pass on the torch of inspiration. Whereby everyone can WIN!
We used to believe that in order for someone to win, someone has to lose. But in most case we can create a WIN-WIN situation. We don't have to be victimize or letting others get the best of us in order to get what we want.

How to create a WIN-WIN situation:
a)Communicate effectively.
b)Change your mindset, being sacrifices is not honorable.

I'm willing to share and help you grow your business. As a way to giveback for the people that thought me valuable lessons that i meet along the way.

Engineering vs. Management

Interesting analogy :-

A man in a hot air balloon realised he was lost. He
reduced altitude and spotted a woman below. He
descended a bit more and shouted,

"Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I
would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I
am."

The woman below replied, "You're in a hot air balloon
hovering approximately 30 feet above the ground. You're
between 40 and 41 degrees North latitude and between
59 and 60 degrees west longitude."

"You must be an engineer," said the balloonist.

"I am," replied the woman, "how did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told
me is technically correct, but I've no idea what to
make of your information, and the fact is, I'm still
lost. Frankly, you've not been much help at all. If
anything, you've delayed my trip."

The woman below responded, "You must be in
management."

"I am," replied the balloonist, "but how did you
know?"

"Well," said the woman, "you don't know where you are
or where you are going. You have risen to where you
are due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a
promise which you've no idea how to keep, and you
expect people beneath you to solve your problems. And
when things don't go right, you would always blame
those below !"
