Teruterubouzu

Teruterubouzu are the little ghost-figures that you see sometimes, hanging in windows.
They’re sun-charms
and children make them for the Tanabata festival, because part of the legend is that if it rains the river will be too wide for the birds to bridge and the heavenly lovers will be unable to meet.

Rain, as it is symbolize as tears. A broken heart and sad passing. I recalled when my friends went through these times, often i offer these rain wards as supportive emblems in poignant and heartrending moments.

I remembered making one out of paper in a café.
